Life Change

My new alarm is Don't Stop the Party  by Pitbull. It's not my first alarm but its my 10 minute sleep in alarm (which gets utilized just about every day)

Random Thoughts for 2/19/2025

I don't have anything to say but feel obliged to post something mid week to bridge the gap between the lackluster weekly post from Sunday which was thankfully followed up by the terrific Ryann interview on Monday but I don't have anything great brewing for this Sunday so in anticipation of another awful post I'm just putting up this little blurb of nothingness to ease your suspense between the two disappointing weekly posts. My apologies my beloved fans.

The Ryann Interview

Friend of the blog Ryann is renowned for her Southern twang. Known for her fondness of 7brew and respected for her fluency in English as a native speaker. She brings a lot to the table for a once in a lifetime interview. What you're about to read are the exact transcripts of our wonderful conversation. I do think she is some how conspiring against me. Enjoy! C: Ready Freddy? R: Yes I am ready  R: Nervy but excited  C: Let’s rock and/or roll C: What are your thoughts on the blog R: I really like the blog and find it very entertaining  C: How do you feel that you invented the idea of having interviews but are not the first R: well I’m glad I can contribute to the blog and I don’t mind that I’m not the first but hoping to be the best  C: What are your thoughts on the possibility that after you inevitably become unimaginably famous after this interview someone might get excited thinking they’ve seen you but it’s really t...

SNL 50 Thoughst

I think it was alright but I only enjoyed it as much as I did because of how many people it featured. I do think SNL 40 was better. 50 wasn't bad though.

Movie Recs

Please comment any and all movie recommendations. Please and thank you!

Thank you friend of the blog Ali for helping me pick a movie to watch

I always forget Russel Wilson's name

Nylhsa Snave

I have been graced with the privilege to have been given secret access to a preview of the ADPI SHU chapter’s Greek Sing. I can not discuss the contents of what I heard on this itty bitty audio file beyond the fact that it is their current draft for their intro. My review will consist solely of my reaction to this file which has been so graciously shared with me.   This auditory wonder tickles the soul. It endows this listener with a sense of tremendous eagerness. It will undoubtedly bestow a sense of jubilation. It feels like an iced brown sugar oat milk shaken espresso on a beach under a blistering sun. It emboldens one’s spirit. It motivates the listener to channel the ADPI energy on display. It establishes a sense of awe as one eagerly awaits what will follow this intro, which itself seems impossible to top. It creates a sense of devotion in commitment to the ADPI team. It initiates a deepening of the tightly knit community ...

The Ashlyn Interview

The following is my discussion with friend of the blog Ashlyn. Famed for currently being in Connecticut as well as being the VP of Panhell  Relations for the SHU ADPi chapter. What you will read is the raw transcript of the conversation with only one alteration in the redaction of a classified file which is denoted as "[Classified]". Enjoy! C: INTERVIEW!!! A: HOLD ON IM NOT IN MY DORM C: It’s via text  A: oh ok A: period A: i can do that C: So I can just copy and paste without transcribing anything cause that sounds like work C: Ready!!! C: What are your thoughts on Tate McRae’s post today revealing something that I don’t know enough about her to know what it is? A: OMGGGGG!!! It was her setlist for her album that comes out in like a week or 2 I think. Im so hype and im seeing her in concert in September which is LITTTT. I need her to do more tv performances and not just advertise on TikTok bc I need to see my baddie danc...

God I Love Josh Allen

The way he ends absolutely every public statement with "Go Bills" just warms my heart. Hearing him say it after an MVP speech was great. Go Bills!

All's well that ends well!

I was having such a terrible day, but Josh Allen saved me once again. First, I was watching the Utah game cause I totally forgot that the NFL  Honors were on tonight. I don't know, I had thought they were Saturday  night but boy was I wrong. I watched the whole thing and am generally  pleased with how it panned out. Of course I'm ecstatic that Josh won  MVP. I firmly believed he was the most valuable player, but I did not  think he would win the actual award accordingly. I never Billieve. I'm  so so so happy for him, he really does deserve it and I know he was  depressed with the end of the season because he didn't go to the pro  bowl or his golf tournament. He always goes to one or the other, but  he must have been too upset. I have some hot take on a lot of the  awards. O'Connell for coach of the year complete me surprised me. Of  all the nominees I thought he was the least likely to get it. Very  surprised there! I'm very gl...

Blight of an early bedtime...

I was watching the Utah game last night before bed and they were losing worse than the 2-1 score would indicate going into the third period. Philly was dominating. So I decide I'll go to bed right after the Utah power play that was starting the third period and of course nothing comes of it so I accept that this is a Utah loss and tune out to go to bed. I was really invested in the game despite actively losing but it was a later game and with my trouble sleeping I need to get a head start on the trying to fall asleep process. Well I wake up to a 2-3 overtime win! How did they turn that around, I really wish I could have seen it.

People are so weird

Why does my one class have the precise stereotypes of both a typical reddit user and a discord mod.

Random Players I like from my first NFL season (Non Bills)

Just to clarify, I know none of these are really hot takes. I know most of them are the stars of the league but all my deep-track favorites are Bills and no one wants me to just list the Bills starting roster.  Bo Nix- Absolutely love this man. Great rookie year, promising future. I like the way he moves in the pocket and his chemistry with Courtland Sutton is great. TJ Watt- By far my favorite defensive player, he is so much fun to watch. Brandon Aubrey- I just really enjoy watching a good kicker. I'm a sucker for long field goals. Joe Burrow- Amazing QB, so much fun to watch. Him and Ja'Marr Chase should really be listed together but J'Mar also deserves his own spot so he's up next. Ja'Marr Chase- Amazing receiver. He's so good at breaking out of coverage and finding the end zone. Saquon Barkley- Best RB in the league but might be slightly over rated. I don't think he's a great contender for MVP even for a non QB. But he's objectively fun to watch ...

A quick fright but thankfully nothing came of it

One of the fundamental pillars of Connor is I an't sleep. Some times this catches up with me. Such was the case on Friday when I decided to skip my 9am  class after a terrible night's sleep. Its a seminar so even if I had dragged myself their I was in no shape to meaningfully contribute anyways. I did go to my 10am, I wasn't just playing hooky all day. So I sleep in and the rest of my day, while tired, went fine. I do the work for the 9am that was due for Monday as I did fully plan to go. HOWEVER, I then see an email from the professor reminding the class that Monday (today) will be a direct continuation of Friday. As such I concluded that perhaps I best not go on account of having missed Friday but at this point two absences is getting to be a bit much so I figured that I ought to email the professor and I told him that I was sick and wasn't feeling better as of Sunday night. I even asked for the poetry that we were analyzing in class which I had missed,...

Groundhog Ranking

Of the Groundhogs I came across today here is my ranking Punxsutawney Phil→ Classic all American groundhog Holtsville Hal→  Local legend   Staten Island Chuck→ Told me what I want to hear unlike all the others  Buffalo Bert→ Did not tell me what I wanted to hear and unlike Phil and Hal, does not have enough merit to compensate. It's like he hates me

Can't win 'em all!!!

Utah lost but at least Sabrina did good at the Grammys so far.
